Managing Director of Econsult, with over 25 years of experience in investment banking, structured finance, and infrastructure and energy investments across Latin America and Europe.

At Econsult, he leads advisory mandates in debt structuring and restructuring, project finance, capital markets issuances, and structuring in both domestic and international private debt markets. He also plays an active role in the origination and execution of M&A transactions and concession tender processes, with a particular focus on infrastructure, energy, and real assets.

Previously, he served as Senior Advisor at Providence Capital, where he developed a new business line focused on the creation of investment funds targeting energy, infrastructure, and real estate projects, while also leading advisory engagements in M&A transactions, project finance, bond issuances, and company valuations.

Earlier, he was Managing Director and Head of Latam at DIF Capital Partners, a Dutch fund with over €15 billion in assets under management, where he established and led the regional office, overseeing investments in Chile, Colombia, and Uruguay totaling more than €400 million across toll roads, wind farms, and infrastructure assets.

His career also includes senior positions at Scotiabank and Banco Santander in Chile and Spain, where he led corporate banking and structured finance teams across the energy, mining, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors. He participated in some of the region’s most significant project finance, acquisition finance, and concession transactions, including airports, hospitals, power transmission, and LNG projects.

He began his career at AES Gener and BBVA, working in investor relations, financial restructuring, and fixed income markets.
