He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial market and in investment management. Before joining Econsult, he was the Country Head (CEO) of Principal Financial Group Chile from 1998 until 2010. Principal Financial Group is a company with a presence in 15 countries and a member of the Fortune 500, which at that time administrated US$300 Billion in assets. As the person responsible for Principal’s business in Chile, he was in charge of designing the business strategy and leading the growth of the company in Life Annuity and the entry of the company into the mortgage and APV business, being able to reach leadership positions in all of them.

He was the president of the boards of Principal Seguros de Vida Chile S.A., Principal Creditos Hipotecarios S.A., Principal Asset Management S.A. and was a board member of Principal AGF S.A.
Currently he is a Partner of Econsult and is mainly dedicated to advisory and management of investments for private individuals and families.
