Alejandro Leay is a Partner at Econsult and is one of the leading members of the Corporate Finance area.

His practice has been focused on advising both local and international companies in strategic M&A processes, ECM, debt placements, and project financing transactions. With more than 40 transactions, he has facilitated the execution of deals for over of US$20 billion.

Prior to Econsult, Alejandro Leay worked as an Investment Banking Director at Banchile Citi Global Markets. During this period, he actively engaged in a diverse array of M&A transactions in Chile and Latin America. Prior to this role, he spent five years in the corporate finance division of Santander Global Banking & Markets at their offices in Santiago and New York.
He is currently a Board Member Transbank S.A.
